NMPF's 2007 Annual Meeting: Orlando, FL
The 2007 Annual Meeting took place November 12-14 in Orlando, FL. With the theme "Building a Better Future," dairy industry participants listened to experts speak about a range of important topics such as the Farm Bill and the immigration debate. The participants also discussed this year's record-high dairy prices. Possible trade agreements with Peru, South Korea, Colombia, and Panama gained attention as well, and the annual meeting stressed the significance of maintaining high-quality dairy organizations. Guest speakers included experts from the realms of professional sports, politics, and food marketing.
