October CWT-Assisted Dairy Export Sales Totaled 5.1 Million Pounds

CWT member cooperatives secured 39 contracts in October, adding five million pounds of American-type cheeses and 77,000 pounds of cream cheese to CWT-assisted sales in 2022. In milk equivalent, this is equal to 47 million pounds of milk on a milkfat basis. These products will go to customers in Asia, Central America, Europe and Middle East-North Africa, and will be shipped from October through April 2022.

CWT-assisted 2022 dairy product sales contracts year-to-date total 86.1 million pounds of American-type cheese, 657,000 pounds of butter, 7.6 million pounds of cream cheese and 30.3 million pounds of whole milk powder. This brings the total milk equivalent for the year to 1.090 billion pounds on a milkfat basis.

May CWT-Assisted Dairy Export Sales Totaled Nearly 19 Million Pounds

CWT member cooperatives secured 57 contracts in May*, adding 5.0 million pounds of American-type cheeses, 49,000 pounds of butter, 13.0 million pounds of whole milk powder and 679,000 pounds of cream cheese to CWT-assisted sales in 2022. In milk equivalent, this is equal to 147 million pounds of milk on a milkfat basis. These products will go customers in Asia, Central America, Oceania and South America, and will be shipped from May through December 2022.

February CWT-Assisted Dairy Export Sales Continue Strong Start to 2022

CWT member cooperatives secured 105 contracts in February, adding 14.9 million pounds of American-type cheeses, 12.2 million pounds of whole milk powder and 1.4 million pounds of cream cheese to CWT-assisted sales in 2022. These products will go customers in Asia, Central America, Middle East-North Africa, Oceania and South America, and will be shipped from February through August 2022.

CWT-assisted 2022 dairy product sales contracts year-to-date total 29.9 million pounds of American-type cheese, 3.1 million pounds of cream cheese and 14.1 million pounds of whole milk powder. This brings the total milk equivalent for the year to 402 million pounds on a milkfat basis. Over the last 12 months, CWT assisted sales are the equivalent of 1.483 billion pounds of milk on a milkfat basis.

CWT-Assisted Dairy Export Sales for 2021 Reach Nearly 1.5 Billion Pounds

Despite not taking bids for two weeks during December breaks, CWT member cooperatives secured 41 contracts in December adding 3.5 million pounds of American-type cheeses, 105,000 pounds of butter, 44,000 pounds of whole milk powder, 767,000 pounds of cream cheese and 300,000 pounds of anhydrous milkfat to CWT-assisted sales in 2021. These products will go customers in the Caribbean, Asia, Middle East-North Africa and South America, and will be shipped from December 2021 through June 2022.

CWT-assisted dairy product sales contracts for 2021 total 53.1 million pounds of American-type cheese, 16 million pounds of butter, 6.4 million pounds of anhydrous milkfat, 12.2 million pounds of cream cheese and 45.1 million pounds of whole milk powder. This brings the total milk equivalent for the year to 1.447 billion pounds on a milkfat basis.

These products will go customers in Asia, Middle East-North Africa, Europe, South America and Oceania, and will be shipped from November 2021 through May 2022.

CWT-Assisted Export Dairy Sales Through September Top a Billion Pounds

CWT member cooperatives secured 40 contracts in August adding 2.3 million pounds of American-type cheeses, 5.5 million pounds of whole milk powder, 567,000 pounds of anhydrous milkfat and 891,000 pounds of cream cheese to CWT-assisted sales in 2021. These products will go customers in Asia, Middle East-North Africa, Central America, Caribbean and South America, and will be shipped September 2021 through February 2022.

CWT-assisted 2021 dairy product sales contracts year-to-date total 37.7 million pounds of American-type cheese, 12.7 million pounds of butter, 6.1 million pounds of anhydrous milkfat, 10.4 million pounds of cream cheese and 24 million pounds of whole milk powder. This brings the total milk equivalent for the year to roughly 1.056 billion pounds on a milkfat basis.

CWT-Assisted Export Dairy Sales in May Top Six Million Pounds

The 58 contracts Cooperatives Working Together member cooperatives secured in May added 3.4 million pounds of American-type cheeses, 524,700 pounds of butter, 908,305 pounds of whole milk powder, 1.6 million pounds of cream cheese, and 4,409 pounds of anhydrous milkfat to CWT-assisted sales in 2021. These products will go customers in Asia, the Middle East, Oceania, and South America, and are being shipped May through October.

CWT-assisted 2021 dairy product sales contracts total 17.9 million pounds of cheese, 10.4 million pounds of butter, 7.1 million pounds of anhydrous milkfat (AMF), 6.9 million pounds of cream cheese and 16.6 million pounds of whole milk powder. This brings the total milk equivalent for the year to over three-quarters of a billion pounds on a milkfat basis. All these products are scheduled to ship in the first ten months of 2021.
